Will Mead and his wife Amy Cronise-Mead founded Seeds For Tomorrow as a way to work to end suffering in the world and to honor their teachers, Lama Christie McNally and Geshe Michael Roach. Will and Amy have also started the Sukha Gomukha Fund (Face of a Joyful Cow), supporting dairies that treat their cows well and allow them to live out their natural lives. They are both students and teachers of yoga, meditation and eastern philosophy. Will is a ceramic artist and owns Peace Valley Tile Company.

Ken Odell holds an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Antioch-MacGregor and is a certified Co-Active Coach. He is actively involved in gathering and bringing donations to wounded veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Ken is also the proud father of two fabulous teenage daughters.

Barbara Karlin brings a variety of talents and experiences to the SFT Board. She is an educator, artist and businesswoman who lives a life of compassion and giving. For many years she ran a family furniture import business, and for the past 12 years has taught middle school in Upper Dublin. She holds degrees in education and art history from Temple University and Arcadia University, and earned a Masters degree in Education from Gratz College.

Bob Karlin is a psychologist, educator and businessman with over 35 years of professional experience. Currently in private practice in Ft. Washington, he has taught at the University of Houston, Temple University, and Kings College, has been a contributing editor to professional journals, and has consulted to businesses ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to Fortune 500 Companies. He holds M.A. degrees in Psychology from the University of Houston and Temple University, and earned his Ph.D. from Temple University, completing doctoral studies in both Clinical Psychology and Organizational Development.

Together, Barb and Bob are currently developing a pilot program that brings ethics training into a classroom setting to teach grade school students personal accountability for creating the world they live in, and how to make more productive choices in conflict situations. Their greatest accomplishments, however, are as parents (3 sons, 2 daughters) and grandparents (3 boys, 1 girl).

Betsy Moore has both an M.A. and J.D. from Temple University, and writes about Pennsylvania criminal practice. She gives of her time by working for Doylestown Hospital’s hospice and No One Dies Alone programs.

Kim Bennett has over 16 years experience in commercial and government contracting, in education, engineering, and emergency response. She served as a civilian contractor in Basrah, Iraq in 2003. Kim has passion for fostering appreciation of the individual and cultural differences that create our beautiful world symphony. She holds a BS in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and accomplished graduate work at Loyola Graduate School of Education. Volunteer work has included: Crossroads Africa, Center for Laotian refugees, Red Cross Disaster Response Team, grant writing for the Institute of Multi-Track Diplomacy and teaching guitar to mentally retarded men.

Bill Guerin is a management consultant specializing in the areas of strategic planning, organizational change, leadership development and team effectiveness. For more than 25-years he has worked with large, small and mid-sized companies to improve performance while generating greater commitment, engagement and loyalty among their employees and customers. He also volunteers his time to help non-profits apply similar principles to operate more successfully.  Bill holds a BS Degree in Engineering from Swarthmore College, an MBA in Management Science from Wilkes University and lives in Doylestown with his wife Connie and two children.

Kendall Martin is a professor of Computer Science at Montgomery County Community College. She holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked for Texas Instruments, AT&T Bell Laboratories and a number of start-up businesses. She has co-authored a successful college textbook on computer literacy and speaks nationally on topics of education and technology.
